This is Olde World Santa by James C. Christensen. It’s a signed, numbered giclee on canvas from a sold-out series of 375 by the Greenwich Workshop, donated by Dianne Weaver of Riverside, RI.

In creating the work, Christensen researched Santa’s background and found Santa to be a synthesis of customs brought to this country. In other words, Christensen found Santa came here from many cultures and lands - the same as we Americans ourselves.
