Gain self-confidence while learning self-discipline, improved concentration and nonviolent conflict resolution with a six-month, adult membership to the Rhode Island Uechi Karate School in Pawtucket. Uechi - traditional Okinawan Karate - focuses on simplicity, stability, and a combination of linear and circular movements.

This membership entitles you to two classes per week. For many, this is sufficient to obtain a green belt rank.

The Rhode Island Uechi Karate School operates facilities where you’ll find a safe, enjoyable, positive mentoring environment, under the wing of the National Uechi Karate Association. Satellite classes are also offered in Smithfield and Wakefield. Learn to regulate stress, improve concentration, focus awareness and master serenity.

Students need not be athletes; individuals of all backgrounds are welcome. Classes are generally taught by 3rd-degree black belts or higher. There are several 7th-degree black belts teaching in the program. Classes feature a family atmosphere where students work together to improve themselves.
