Gather 6-10 of your closest friends for an Artisanal Bread Baking class on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the home of Carrie Pallat, 211 Winant Road in Princeton, New Jersey.  Spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon with tea and pastries while learning bread baking basics. 

The first hour will consist of discussion and demonstrations of the types of rising agents, the chemistry of bread, and the shaping and docking of loaves.  The second hour will be hands-on, mixing and kneading a country French loaf.  All participants will leave with dough to bake that evening, and plenty of recipes.
