Ghlee E. Woodworth writes about the lives of eighty people who lived primarily during the 1800s, and made contributions to the Newburyport community, to the United States and beyond.  Newburyport, Massachusetts, was founded in 1635, and is located on the coast north of Boston.  People who love Newburyport history are enjoying the book but also those folks who enjoy New Englnad history, people who like old cemeteries, and those  who are native or have connections with Newburyport.


The book includes 300 images and colored maps for a self guided tour of  gravesites in Oak Hill Cemetery.


Ghlee. E. Woodworth served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Comoros Islands from 1991-1993 and as a Peace Corps Trainer in 13 countries from 1993-2004.
