This very old glass paperweight has a picture of the U.S. Capitol on the front side and a postcard like picture of Independence Hall on the back.   It has the dates on the back and under Independence is 1776 and under Hall is 1926.  If you are a collector of all things Washington, DC - this is a great piece in excellent condition.

The paperweight measures 4 1/4" x 2 1/2"
