Mei Bucher is a parent at Woodland Star; and an amazing Chef.  She is currently part of the staff at Whole Foods Market in Sonoma.

According to Mei:

“The menu is inspired from when we lived on a farm.  It is a little unconventional, but is very yummy and holds a unique memory for our family.  The ingredients will come from whatever is in season at an organic farm or harvested wild as well.   The meal should feed up to 6 people.”  This item also includes 3 bottles of certified organic 2006 Syrah from Frey Vineyards.

The menu will include:

• Wild Green Fritters with a Yogurt Sauce.  The fritters will be made from cabbage, watercress, spinach, nettle, etc …


• Green Rice made from sprouted brown rice, sweet peas, garlic, & olive oil


• Kale Slaw made from kale, cabbage, lemon juice, turmeric, & sea salt


• Green Tea Cookies
