About parents place:   Our staff and services make us the Bay Area's leading family resource center, providing a place for parents to get education and counseling about parenting and for children of all ages to find peer support, social networks, and guidance on their developmental journey.

With a special expertise in early childhood mental health, we focus on programs and services that stress prevention and early intervention. We also consult with child care centers on mental health issues.

Our staff also provides a range of services for post-adoption families, including support groups, consultations, and counseling. In addition, we train professionals who are working with post-adoption families.
