Artist’s Statement:

At my old job, Christmas time seemed to be an open season for a silent baking competition among my women co-workers. Martha Stewart’s Christmas cookie designs were the golden standard. If they were unable to mimic the design, they were crushed and no amount of lip service brought them back from their funk.  So, the cookie crushed them.
