Artist’s Statement:

 Anne Kolin translates on the canvas the modern marks of our environment. Mankind has become urban: Half of earth now lives in cities and this proportion will grow to reach   70 % by 2050. Urban life deeply transforms our society, our way of lifeand our cultures. The association of posters, graffiti, tags and other pictorial elements covering city walls lead the artist to self-questioning. Anne Kolin was born in Paris and joined Noho Gallery in 2008. Prior exhibitions took place in France and Germany.
