Artist’s Statement:

Trained as a painter, I have adopted the archaic form of handmade felt as my creative canvas. In this medium, saturated colors migrate through the depth of the entire structure, resulting in sophisticated and sensuous surfaces. I enhance these surfaces with stitching, mono-printing, appliqué, and found objects, devising a language of symbolic images and archetypal forms.
