Gonzalez debuted in 2008 for the Oakland Athletics, but really hit his stride with the Rockies in the 2009 National League Division Series before lighting it up all season long in 2010. He remained in contention for a Triple Crown through the end of the season, including hitting for the cycle on July 31 as a season highlight. He added a Gold Glove to his accolades as well, committed just one error all season long.
