For the 2011 auction Gateway School's non-profit community partner is the Beach Flats Community Center, which plays a critical role in building healthy families and community pride, in the heart of the largely low-income, Latino neighborhood of Beach Flats.

Through the after school program children at the Center have an opportunity to create original art work like the painting featured here.
