Rebecca Francis says about her work: “Recycling is the heart of my 30 year life as a weaver, turning over 20 tons of cotton and wool clothing into rag rugs. The Rag Rug is imbuded with tradition; a 200+ year history, utility; washable and long wearing, ecology; recycled, and my constant challenge, beauty. The tool of my trade is an 18th century loom. Custom work is accepted.”
