Jim & Megan Gerritsen and their family grow Double-Certified Organic Seed Potatoes on their Wood Prairie Farm in northern Maine and market their 16 varieties of specialty potatoes through mail order catalog and webstore (www.woodprairie.com).  Jim is a recognized authority on organic potato production.  He is Vice-President of the Organic Seed Alliance, has served for the last 20 years on the Certification Committee of MOFGA, and is founder and co-leader of the Slow Food convivium in Aroostook County, Maine.
