Description

A trip for Two to the US Open for Golf for Four Days & Three Nights, Including a Grounds Pass for the Final Rounds at the Congressional Country Club, Blue Course, in Bethesda Maryland, a Car Rental, and Round Trip Economy Class Air (June 2011)

On Oct. 4, 1895, the first US Open Championship was conducted by the United States Golf Association on the nine-hole course of Newport Golf and Country Club. This first US Open was considered something of a sideshow to the first US Amateur, which was played on the same course, during the same week. Both championships had been scheduled for September but were postponed because of a conflict with a more established Newport sports spectacle, the America's Cup yacht races. Ten professionals and one amateur started in the 36-hole competition, which was four trips around the Newport course in one day. Since then, the US Open has changed format several times; however, it has never lost any of the gusto that makes it America's finest golf championship.

Your 2011 US Open Package (for two) includes:
A? Round trip Economy Class air
A? 4 days/3 nights accommodations at the Westin Tysons Corner; check-in Friday, June 17th; check-out Monday, June 20th
A? Tickets to the final tournament rounds Saturday, June 18th through Sunday, June 19th
A? Full American breakfast daily
A? 4 day car rental
A? Expert travel & concierge services
A? All room-related taxes
