You can attend The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 10 or Sunday, Deciember 12 at 5 p.m., at the Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium in the Civic Center, courtesy of the Marin Ballet. Since its founding in 1963, the Marin Ballet school has been a leader in promoting the art of dance in the community, where dancers not only receive excellent ballet instruction, but enjoy a spirit of camaraderie and belonging as well. Both career-aspiring and recreational dancers train side by side, in classrooms where lifelong friendships are formed, healthy lifestyles are encouraged, and an enduring love of the performing arts is cultivated. The Nutcracker is Marin Ballet's largest performance of the year.
