Lively nine-patch diamonds set against gorgeous deep blue and black background.  Size  19 x 22".  Allison Cooke Brown has made many quilts over the years. One
hangs in the Yarmouth Library stairway, another at the "Center for
Breast Care" in New Britain Connecticut. Her "Busting Out" quilt was
featured in Quilter's Newsletter and later in the book "Paper Piecing
Quilts". Allison has since turned to fiber sculpture and book arts,
and her work has appeared in many national shows and placed in many
collections.   She maintains a studio on Munjoy Hill in Portland.
