You and up to 11 friends will learn proper techniques in cooking sushi rice as well as preparing both maki and nigiri-style sushi with Andy Tonozuka, the chef and owner of WeBeSushi in San Francisco's Mission district. Andy, who teaches sushi making at City College of San Francisco, has been a featured chef at many San Francisco gourmet cooking events. He'll teach you some of the secrets that only the sushi chef knows. You get some tips on eating sushi like the Japanese do and you'll get to enjoy your creations at the end of class! Andy is happy to work with adults or with Urban students. What a fun way to celebrate a birthday!
