Red Carpet Day Guided Sea Kayak Tour on Casco Bay with Lincoln Outdoor Center

Item Number: 11391
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Casco Bay is rich in history and wildlife. The Bay offers spectacular views and abundant opportunity to view wildlife from a variety of sea birds to Harbor seals and porpoise. Exploring the nooks and crannies by sea kayak is one of the best ways to experience southern Maine’s largest bay. Your guide will provide sea kayaking instruction and share their knowledge of natural history.
You and up to three of your guests will meet your guide at Lincoln Outdoor Center in Freeport where you will discuss the day's itinerary. After a brief paddling lesson and a safety talk you'll get on the water and head out on to the bay toward Bustins Island on the way to Little French Island. You'll pause for a snack break and great rock skipping. From there you'll paddle through the Gosling Islands on your way out to Whaleboat Island at the outer edge of Casco Bay. While you take in the fantastic views from Whaleboat, your guide will prepare the lunch spread for your entire group.
Stockman Island to the south is next on the way toward Chebeague Island for hot drinks and a stretch on the beach before hopping back into your kayaks for the final leg to Cousins Island where you will take out. You'll load your boats onto the waiting trailer for the short drive back to Lincoln Outdoor Center.
This item can accomodate 2-4 participants with varying levels of experience! Brings some friends and experience Casco Bay in a whole new way!
