Produced in very limited quantities since 1994, there are few wines from California that can boast the quality, heritage and pedigree of Charles Krug Vintage Selection Cabernet Suavignon.  The Peter Mondavi family recognizes this wine as the flagship of their line, and releases it only in vintages that merit the declaration. 

The 1993 Vintage Selection has a rich cassis-cedar bouquet, with a distinct minty character.  It is full-bodied in the mouth, with exceptional structure and a lengthy finish.  This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine spent 26 months in French Allier and Nevers oak, and 1,545 cases were produced.
