The silk gives this yarn strength, a luxurious feel and a luminescent look. Silk, like the cotton with which it is blended, has an evaporative quality so you will be cool and comfortable. The three tightly twisted cabled strands will produce crisp stitches and a finished fabric with little or no surface pilling. Though Rowan offered Silk Cotton for spring/summer wear, consider it a year around yarn.
