Description

Includes:

  • Vistalba Cortec 2008 Malbec-Cabernet Sauvignon Blend, Argentina ($14):Violet red color, intense aroma of red fruits, dry fruits and notes of ecualyptus, with an interesting evoulution once in the glass. In the mouth it has a sweet feeling of soft and round tannins, with a balanced and long finish.

  • Red Stag Spiropoulos, Greece ($17): A dry red wine made from 100% Agiorgitiko grape. After harvest and fermentation, the wine is racked two to three times before it is stored in new French oak barrels for twelve months and then is transferred to the bottle for an additional six months of aging before release. The Red Stag is a deep red color with soft tannins and a long finish. It has intense complex vanilla, toasted wood and berry aromas.

  • Pueblo del Sol Tannat, Uruguay ($10): Tannat is a grape most frequently associated with the Madiran region of France, though it has become increasingly successful in South America, particularly Uruguay. It produces a rich, rustic wine with considerable tannins and a smoky, spicy character that adds complexity to its deep tones of black raspberry fruit.

  • Notios Peloponnisos Regional Wine, Greece ($16): Two traditional Greek varieties join their characteristics : Moschofilero, harvested from the
Arcadian plateaus, contributes a vibrant, fruity flavor while Roditis, from the Aegialian
mountainous slopes provides a smooth quality. Their glorious coupling is both elegant and
    harmonious.

  • Arenal Camenere, Chile ($10): Intensely dark and violet in color with bold, sweet, floral aromas of blackberry and earthy plum which combine with peppery spiciness. In the mouth, it is ripe, structured, and surprisingly complex, with a terrific softness on the palate.

  • Harlaftis Nemea, Greece ($11): An easy drinking fruity red wine made solely from the Agiorgitiko grape. It is medium bodied, soft tannins and well balanced with fruit and nuts aromas and flavors.

  • High Def Sweet Red, Germany ($12): It’s all about precision and purity of flavour.  The High Def sweet Dornfelder offers a rich, luscious red wine with lots of fruit and soft tannins and just enough acidity to balance the wine.
