- Shinas Estate “The Verdict” Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 ($18) A dark plum purple color with a slight crimson hue, this Cabernet Sauvignon is soft and plush on the palate with flavors of voluptuous cherry, plum and strawberry fruit.. With a slight edginess from the tannins and just an underpinning of crisp acidity, the wine showcases aromas of ripe berry fruits, vanilla, and dark chocolate.
- Chilensis Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon Chile 2008 ($11) 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep ruby red shaded wine that fills your glass with red fruit and cassis aromas. This medium bodied wine exhibits flavors of soft red fruit and blackberry jam laced with toasty vanilla notes, and a hint of spice. A very well balanced, smooth Cabernet with a slightly dry finish.
