Scottish born photojournalist Harry Benson arrived in America with the Beatles in 1964 and decided to stay. He has been a witness to a great many of the major political and social events in modern history. Harry's subjects range from Sir Winston Churchill to The Rolling Stones.
Harry has photographed every U.S. president from Dwight D. Eisenhower to Barack H. Obama; was on the Civil Rights Meredith March with Martin Luther King, Jr.; was there when the Berlin Wall went up and when it came down; and covered the Gulf War in Saudi Arabia as well as wars in Afghanistan, Somalia, Bosnia, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands. Harry lives in New York and Florida with his wife, Gigi, who works with him on his book and exhibition projects.
