The Yellow Orioles exquisite framed poster “Hands Can Say I Love You” was inspired by our ongoing theme aimed to instill in the children the importance of friendships.

VPC’s philosophy on positive, loving, communal behavior is interwoven in our different activities and learning. During snack time, the children sing “Reach Out and Touch Somebody’s Hand.” While singing this song the children hold hands with their classmates. This action encourages acceptance of all and helps in the building of friendships among the children.

The children colored the traces of their own hands. Later, those hands were used to frame a beautiful picture of the Yellow Orioles Team, sitting together in their classroom in the form of a heart so that they could show our school community that Hands can say I love you!

We are extremely proud of all their individual creations, beautiful smiles, and final product!
