2009 Brazin Monte Rosso Vineyard Zinfandel, Sonoma Valley with Elegant Wood Display Box
Our search for the best Zinfandel vines in California led us to the historic Monte Rosso Vineyard located high atop the Mayacamas Mountains overlooking the Sonoma Valley. Monte Rosso is named for its rich, red soils and mountain site – 1000 feet above the valley floor.
Grapes grown on Monte Rosso produce powerhouse wines. Brazin is dark inky in color and full of intense aromas and flavors of ripe blackberry, plum, black currant and the signature Monte Rosso black pepper spice.
This is not a wine for immediate consumption! Brazin’s Winemaker Sue Hofmann recommends laying this commemorative bottled down for two years, until 2013 – the wine will continue to evolve in the bottle for five to ten years after that.
