The 2004 Adonis Cabernet from the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. It is truly a Bordeaux-style wine, with elegance and finesse. The wine's color is a dense, ruby/purple. Seductive aromas of black currants, fresh-picked cherries and smoked-cedar immediately jump from the glass, followed by subtle undertones of anise, roses, herbs and clay-like aromas. Leather, smoke, blackberries and fresh earth give way to a finish layered with cassis.
