Description

Set of 2 watercolor landscapes by Roberta Jacobs,  each measuring 14.5" X 11.5"

  • "Boothboy Harbor, Maine" (1992)

  • "Acadia National Park's Trees" (1992)

This set of watercolors is inspired by Maine's many islands. One painting shows Acadia National Park seen through silver birch trees; the other is of a small island, typical of Maine's down east landscape.

Roberta Jacobs' artworks reflect her many travels, whether it's collage from Greece, mixed media from China, or watercolor  from Maine.  Using watercolor, she captures nature's delicate mix of light and color.  Ms. Jacobs is a native New Yorker and lifelong artist who first studied at Pratt, then The Art Students League, Parsons and The Salmagundi Club in New York City.  Her work has been exhibited at the The Art Students League, The National Arts Club, The New School for Social Research and Salmagundi Club.
