This painting was inspired by Acadia National Park, where huge slabs of stepped back rocks invite  people to walk in wonder. Each level of rock is a different color, unlike any other.


Roberta Jacobs' artworks reflect her many travels, whether it's collage from Greece, mixed media from China, or watercolor  from Maine.  Using watercolor, she captures nature's delicate mix of light and color.  Ms. Jacobs is a native New Yorker and lifelong artist who first studied at Pratt, then The Art Students League, Parsons and The Salmagundi Club in New York City. Her work has been exhibited at the The Art Students League, The National Arts Club, The New School for Social Research and Salmagundi Club.
