11" X 11" Framed color studies of orchids, by Madeline Ring

Award winning and widely exhibited, Madeline Ring is a self-taught photographer who has traveled to remote parts of the world, seeking out unusual images of people, still life,landscape and architecture.  She uses both color and monochromatic tonal range to reproduce the scene and set the mood.  In addition, she works in image transfer to create a completely different, water color effect and uses digital manipulation on select images to product tinted black and white images as well as fanciful color abstracts.
