Johnny Lujack took over as quarterback for Notre Dame in 1943 and ended up helping the Irish to three national titles and establishing a reputation as one of the great T-formation signal callers in college football history. Lujack played four years with the Chicago Bears and was elected to the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 1960.  Lujack is the oldest living Heisman Trophy Winner (1947).
