Join Dr. Brian Druker, director of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, for lunch and a lab tour on Friday, May 20, 2011, from 11 to 1 p.m., in OHSU's state-of-the-art Biomedical Research Building. Dr. Druker's legendary development of Gleevec was the first to prove that molecularly targeted cancer therapies work -- a discovery that has transformed cancer research and has benefited millions of people worldwide. Prior to the lunch you will have an opportunity to tour Dr. Druker's laboratories and meet the researchers who are working to find better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
