One of Tucson's favorite authors, J.A. Jance, is coming to town to promote her latest mystery novel. Fatal Error, sixth in the Ali Reynolds series, will be released in February.

Jance will speak at the Nanini Branch Library on February 7 at 9:30 a.m. Later that day she will make two appearances at the Joyner-Green Valley Branch Library, at 12:30 p.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. Book signings will follow all three appearances.

Jance, a University of Arizona graduate, has published 41 mysteries. Fatal Error is her 42nd, and number 43, Betrayal of Trust, is due out in July 2011.

She and her husband divide their time between their homes in Washington and Arizona.
