On Ramp for Cross Fit Program- CrossFit is a training methodology that aims to build overall fitness and athleticism. CrossFit training uses heavy and skilled barbell movements in addition to basic gymnastic strength training, running, rowing, kettlebell training, and more. There is a bias towards shorter workouts at higher intensity. CrossFit workouts are constantly varied and use the entire body, and all workouts can be scaled to a person's unique fitness level or ability. The On Ramp is designed to provide a solid introduction to CrossFit South Philly's programs. The OnRamp is a series of 6 classes that introduce the basics of CrossFit and allow participants to experience CrossFit workouts safely and productively. These classes consist of brief discussion followed by skill work and a workout.
