Hoeber uses photographs to construct book length sequences. Her subject is people at work and the space in which they work making art. People working are intent, concentrated and graceful. Their gestures are specific and full of information. They are her metaphor, her way to understand and speak about her life.

Hoeber is based in Philadelphia.
