Lisbeth Biger is offering the viewer a second look at an everyday object and in doing so is challenging the definition of what is new and what is used.  A sheet of simple, white A4 paper, is a reminder of the beauty in so many of our everyday objects. The “paper” is made through the transformation of another, simple everyday object - a clear glass-bottle crushed into glass dust and re-heated. This gives the viewer an opportunity to rediscover the beauty in the object.
