The flowering vessel is a singular but complex form. The character of this series of forms develops in an outward and inward direction, projecting both the flamboyant and pensive.  The work is made using the tradition of pâte de verre in its breadth of applications: solid and hollow cast.  Particulate glass, and its diverse appearance, is important to the visual and conceptual essence of the work.
