"My work reflects the traditions of Venetian glass and the complexity and delicacy of form.  Inspired by this ancient ritual of technique and process, I have begun to develop a series of works using abstract forms to portray everyday situations and human interactions.”

Justin Mckenney received a BFA from Alfred University, Alfred, NY and is currently an MFA candidate at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL.  He has recently been chosen for inclusion in New Glass Review 32 and was named a 2011 NICHE award finalist.
