Dena Pengas is a Greenwich Village native developing jewelry and interactive sculpture. Her pieces are made primarily from kilnformed and cast glass, along with other materials including wood, metal and plastic. Pengas also designs a line of kilnformed glass judaica. She creates her work and teaches at UrbanGlass. In 2007 she received the Jerry Raphael Metropolitan Contemporary Glass Group Fellowship.
