You may have heard Chuck Workman's name in association with The Academy Awards every year.  He is an award winning film maker in Los Angeles best known to Beat Generation fans as the man who made The Source, a documentary about who the Beats were and how they influenced America and the world.  Great film where Johny Depp does a monologue as Jack Kerouac, John Tuturro is Allen Ginsberg and Dennis Hopper is William S. Burroughs.
