Description

On Sunday, December 12, 2010 Carolyn Cassady along with her son John Allen Cassady visited the Beat Museum after having lunch with Walter Salles, Director of the upcoming movie "On The Road".  Salles is best known for Motorcycle Diaries and had just wrapped shooting with the cast of OTR the day before in San Francisco.  Walter stopped into the museum later in the day.

What we're offering here is one of the most rare copies of On The Road in the world.  It is one of only six copies signed by all three people who were here that day - Carolyn Cassady, John Allen Cassady and Walter Salles (see photos of them signing while at The Beat Museum).  This one is the only hardcover version of the Original Scroll signed by all three.  This has special significance because it is the Original Scroll version of the book On The Road that the movie script was based upon (as opposed to the version of the bookoriginally published in 1957).

Special Instructions

Book will be shipped to your door insured for the full amount.  Also included will be the three photographs of Carolyn, John Allen and Walter signing.

SPECIAL NOTE:  The value of this book just increased significantly because on February 4th Al Hinkle (Big Ed Dunkel from OTR) was at The Beat Museum and signed the book, enhancing it's uniqueness.
