Item Number: 133
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Lunch with Wayne Law alumni, Joe Hart ('93), President of Asset Health, Inc. at PF Changs at The Somerset Collection, 2801 W Big Beaver Rd. Space D112, Troy, MI 48084. This is an excellent opportunity for a law student or a recent law graduate to explore the career of a Wayne Law grad that transitioned from law into building his own business.
Joe has spent the better part of his career building companies, technologies, systems, and strategies designed to help people understand, retain and apply information so that they can achieve meaningful and sustainable behavioral change – particularly in the areas of health, wellness, leadership and personal responsibility.
After seven years as an attorney and businessman, Joe founded InfoAlly, an innovative venture and angel-backed e-Learning company. InfoAlly developed solutions for leading businesses such as Dale Carnegie, McGraw-Hill, Motorola and Federal Mogul, as well as for internationally known authors such as Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul) and Mark Sanborn (The Fred Factor). InfoAlly’s core achievement was: 1) developing a learning methodology rooted in cognitive science and demonstrated to increase knowledge retention and behavior change; 2) applying that methodology to a scalable Internet-based technology platform.
In 2005, Joe and InfoAlly’s shareholders sold the company. Joe, together with InfoAlly’s new owners, started a business called Asset Health, which is dedicated to promoting employee comprehension and motivation in the areas of health, health care, and health care security. This goal is achieved through a combination of strategic analysis, impactful communication, interactive online courses, knowledge assessment and program integration. Asset Health’s mission is to help employees understand that their health is their most valuable asset and for them to become healthier people and better consumers of healthcare.
In a short time, Asset Health has become the premier Knowledge Management Company in the United States, working with Fortune 1,000 businesses, nationally known health systems, and many other companies.
