PRIZE WORTHY

James Lapine is a celebrated figure in the American theater, winning 3 Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical, 1 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and 5 Drama Desk Awards. While Mr. Lapine has not offered to give away any of his awards, he has generously given us signed scripts from two notable Playwrights Horizons shows: Table Settings and Falsettos. Both shows premiered at PH, and Falsettos went on to transfer to Broadway, garnering him one of those shiny Tonys. Maybe if you sleep with these scripts under your pillow, some of Mr. Lapine’s brilliance will rub off on you, but maybe simply reading and enjoying them is the way to go.
