The lucky winner of this auction will get a pair of tickets to Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra plus the opportunity to meet with Musical Director Kate Tamarkin after the concert.  Tickets will be to the winner's choice of one of two performances.  Choose to attend at either Old Cabel Hall on Saturdays at 8 pm or at Monticello High School on Sundays at 3:30 pm.  Here is a description of the concerts:

• The concert on March 26 and 27 features Gerald Finzi, Romance, Opus 11; Gustav Mahler, Ruckert-Lieder, Laura Zuiderveen, mezzo-soprano; Gustav Holst, The Planets, Opus 32 with the Women of the University Singers


• The concert on April 30 and May 1 features Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Overture to "Abduction from the Seraglio," K. 384;  Richard Cioffari, Concerto Iberico for Trumpet & Orchestra (World Premiere), Paul Neebe, trumpet; Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Symphony No. 4 in f minor, Opus 36
