This portrait of a German shepherd, the original breed of Seeing Eye dog, has been hand embroidered in cross stitch by a local award-winning stitcher. It contains more than 4,000 individual stitches. Rendered in lifelike detail, it is framed in an 11" x 14" black hardwood frame and is double matted with a black interior and ivory linen exterior mat. It is framed without glass so that the detail of the stitching can be better appreciated.
