The goal of The Behavior Exchange is to coach parents and caregivers on how to help their children change their negative behaviors to positive ones without yelling, begging or repeating requests. We work in the family’s home, where we assess the needs of the family and educate them on The 10 Basic Core Strategies. The Behavior Exchange helps families implement individualized strategies. We encourage positive learned behaviors by focusing on the children’s positive behaviors, using praise and incentives.

The Behavior Exchange works with all types of families, including those with children with special needs and parents who are divorcing or are already divorced. We coach parents on how to keep behavioral and family expectations aligned in both households. We also work with one parent if both parents cannot agree on expectations.

Nosotros trabajamos en los hogares de la familia, donde evaluamos las necesidades de la familia y los educamos en Las 10 estrategias  principales.

El programa “The Behavior Exchange” ayuda a las familias a implementar estrategias individualizadas. Nosotros fomentamos comportamientos aprendidos positivos enfocándose en los comportamientos positivos de los niños, usando elogios e incentivos.

“The Behavior Exchange” trabaja con todo tipo de familias, incluyendo aquellas con niños con necesidades especiales y padres quienes están en el proceso de divorcio o ya están divorciados. Entrenamos a los padres a como mantener las expectativas familiares y de comportamiento al mismo nivel en ambos hogares. También trabajamos con uno de los padres si uno de ellos no esta de acuerdo con las expectativas.
