1 Night Stay at The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm

Item Number: 183
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm is located just 13 miles west of Charlottesville on a 70-acre wooded farm in the Moorman River Valley at the edge of Shenandoah National Park. The valley has long served as a main thoroughfare into the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Originally the site of a trading post, the property has served the mountain community since the days of Thomas Jefferson. On this historical site, Dick and Hayden Cabell designed and custom-built the bed and breakfast inn. Their home welcomes travelers in the spirit of those bygone days.
The oak-beamed, country-style family and dining rooms open to a broad, blue stone terrace. The grand view from this terrace stretches across the gardens and fields to Pasture Fence Mountain and the Blue Ridge. This is a perfect spot to enjoy late afternoons with a glass of icy lemonade or a mug of hot apple cider as you watch the sun gently descend behind the mountains. Guest areas on the first floor include a study and a cheerful sunroom. The fireplaces in the dining room and family room invite fireside conversations on cool evenings. On the second floor, you will find a cozy reading nook and an upper deck that overlooks the herb garden. Visit http://www.sugarhollow.com to learn more.
