About Peter Arvantely:

I have spent seven years in the classroom, teaching Algebra I & II, Geometry, Precalculus, and Latin 1, 2, and 3. In addition, I have run my own tutoring business all over San Francisco; 15 years experience tutoring all the above subjects, plus AP Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, AP US History and AP Government. SAT and general standardized test prep comes with the territory, as students who use my services for regular school work eventually find themselves up against a standardized test.

As for music: 13 years on the faculty of the San Francisco Community Music Center. Aside from a studio of private clarinet students (my main instrument) I have taught begining piano to plenty of children and adults. I also have years of teaching general musicianship: ear training, sight-singing, music dictation, rhythm, and the like.

I travel to homes and will tutor or give lessons anywhere between Boston and Worcester.
