Balance Yoga is a place for everyBODY.  We are committed to celebrating the practice of yoga by offering a wide range of classes at convenient times throughout the day in order to accommodate our students.

Yoga means yoke, union, or discipline.  In it's simplest form yoga is a system of specific poses (asanas), breathing exercises, and behaviors designed to heal, purify and bring awareness to both body and mind.  The physical practice itself dates back at least 3,500 years.  It wasn't until the 1930's that T. Krishnamacharya developed the asana practice that Westerners know and love today.
