LASIK stands for laser in situ keratomileusis, which means using a laser underneath a corneal flap to reshape the cornea This procedure utilizes a highly specialized laser designed to treat refractive errors, improve vision, and reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses. This laser procedure alters the shape of the cornea, which is the transparent front covering of the eye.
Dr. Reiser graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan. He completed an M.D. degree at Duke University and was granted the J.E. Markee Award in 1981 and the Fight for Sight Fellowship in 1984. Dr. Reiser completed a residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and is Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Reiser and his wife Kathy are Wyoming Seminary parents.
Special Instructions
This certificate provides a Lasik procedure to one person for two eyes. If the winner is NOT a qualified candidate for the Lasik procedure as determined by Dr Reiser and Dr. McGraw, there will be no consolation prize and cash equivalent. However, the certificate IS transferable.
